ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY

To commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, we entered into a two-year partnership with UK-based Royal Shakespeare Company to mount a rendition of the play The Tempest. Powered by Intel tech, we created a complex digital avatar to play the spirit character of Ariel. The avatar was controlled in real-time by the movements of the actor on stage. The play debuted to widespread critical acclaim and its run was extended to London’s Barbican Theater.

My role: I led the partnership from the creative side, Co Executive Creative Directed all aspects of the integrated campaign, and headed all Content Creation.

Awards: 2 Cannes Lions, an Andy, and was included in the 2017 Brand Film Festival. For full detail on awards, scroll to the bottom of this page.
